foolish_m0rtalSadly, it seems like a lot of writers and other artists and actors from when I was younger are dying this year. Here is my list as of right now:
January
Peter Postlethwaite (January 2, 2011) Roland Tembo in Jurassic Park II the Lost World. One of the most incredibly talented actors the world has never known.
February
Anant Pai (Feb. 4, 2011) Creater of Amar Chitra Katha, a popular Indian comics magazine
Brian Jacques (Feb. 5, 2011): Author known for the Redwall Series
Kenneth Mars (Feb. 12, 2011) Inspector Kemp from Young Frankenstein. No doubt vollowing in his grandfader's vootshteps.

Diana Wynne Jones (March 26, 2011): Author known for fantasy books such as the Chrestomanci Quartet, Howl's Moving Castle, Dark Lord of Derkholm, Dalemark Quartet
April
Elisabeth Sladen (April 19 2011): Sarah Jane on the Doctor Who series and The Sarah Jane Adventures

...Then she asked "Is that a british guy who posted that?"
Me: Haaaah...?
Mom: That picture before. It's a british guy, right?
Me: ...........That's Wash.
Mom: Wash? Who's Wash?
Brother (passing by): The guy from firefly.
Me: Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Brother: *deadpan* mine is an evil laugh.
Mom: Oh! Wash! *still sounds lost*
