Astonishing X-Men

So I just finished Astonishing X-Men vol. 4 by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday. I completely recommend it. The action scenes are awesome, the dialogue is great (and hilarious, courtesy of Whedon), and the plot is complicated and engaging. (Okay, so I'm still not completely sure what just happened. I have to go back and read the last book again)
I'm not going to go into characters and give away spoilers, but coolest newbie award goes to Hisako Ichiki (Armor), a student at the school who dreams of being an X-Man and ends up tagging along with Wolverine, who becomes something of a gruff pain-inducing mentor.
Emma Frost is still a dodgy bitch, and I'm still not completely solid on her, what with her being a former supervillain and everything. But she has a cool role in the series. (Still, when she and Scott kept getting all mushy, I kept wondering: "Is this for real, or are you just using your feminine wiles, wench?")
Best quotes from Astonishing X-Men:
Emma Frost: "Superpowers, a scintillating wit, and the best body money can buy...and I still rate below a corpse."
Kitty Pryde: "Okay, I officially really really don't know why I'm here. I'm not a fighter, not like you guys."
Logan: "You've been in it plenty, kid. I'd take you at my back any day."
Beast: "Maybe Scott and Logan should fight on the lawn again. The kids love that."
Logan: "I ain't up to anything don't have the word 'beer' in it."
Beast: "You could fight for beers..."
Logan: "Well, now, that doesn't sound too bad."
