SRA International
Feb. 21st, 2011 09:58 amEee! Interview with SRA International went pretty well, I think! I told him about the HTML cleanup tool I was writing for LiveJournal (surprise, guys! I'm writing a cleanup tool for LJ that will get rid of all the XML code that carries over when you paste from Microsoft Word. Basically, it's an automated version of my tutorial here) because the company has something called NetOwl, which does text and data mining. Turns out the guy that was interviewing me used to head up that department. (This guy was hilarious. He was like, "So, I used to work for the White House, and then I worked for the company that invented the internet, but then the company started to grow and got a lot of red tape, so I started working for these guys." So amazingly GREAT.)
Anyway, he said I would be a good fit for the company, so hopefully something will come of it! They do a lot of government contracting, so I'll have to ask if I need a security clearance, but still! This company looks pretty amazing!!
