Title: The Professor's Wife

Prompt: The only people that can see Watanuki are people with wishes.
Summary: The students all said that Professor Doumeki had a wife who made him lunches and impeccably pressed his shirts. Watanuki found this hilarious.
Warnings/Spoilers: All spoilers till the end of the manga, obviously. Some dark themes. Written for the wtfholic_fest.

This continues to be fantastic.

You manage, amazingly, to make this romantic while being *not* sweet, and just right for Doumeki and Watanuki. As in this paragraph:

"Doumeki met his eyes. Watanuki stared back; he knew the exact shade and shape of those eyes now. He had seen them in semi-darkness and in the bright early light of the morning."

The meeting with Yuuko is amazing, confusing, and just right from beginning to end.

haha, thanks for that! And I freaked out with Yuuko's entrance since it was such an immense plot point at the end (which was never resolved, GRRR) so I'm glad people think it's fitting.
