Wahaha, no more ads
May. 1st, 2011 02:28 pm So one of the things that put me off Google Chrome is the absence of AdBlock/AdBlock Plus, which gets rid of all the ads on Facebook, LiveJournal (yes, ALL of them. It's like having a paid account, shhh!), Gmail, etc. But I have now found an extension of AdBlock for Chrome and can finally enjoy LiveJournal again without any of the annoying ads. OH MAN, I am so excited. I ran around the flat screaming "No ads! No ads!" and my roommate, who had only discovered the joys of AdBlock a few days ago (why doesn't everyone have this application?) joined me in ad-free revelry.
For Chrome users, you can get AdBlock here: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb
Or for Firefox users: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
I am so freaking excited. I had no idea all the things ABD did for me till it was gone when I downloaded Chrome.

Downloaded and screen hugged!
