:) I'm not sure how long I'll be involved in the AVEN forum. Asexual Awareness week is coming up at the end of October, and I've volunteered to be be a college rep, so I'll stick around and see what happens.
Someone was really rude to me about being asexual a few days ago, and I was filled righteous fury and got crazy involved with establishing better presence for ourselves on campus.
It's, I guess, still pretty new for me. lol I mean, I've never been interested in sex or in persuing a relationship. I just didn't know until fairly recently--within the past year or two--that there was a word for it.
People can be really mean about things that don't fit in their views or that they don't understand. :/
