View From Mah Window
Apr. 13th, 2008 05:34 pmSo you know those "The View From My Window" bits that people do for photography contests?
Okay, maybe you don't...
So the person takes pictures of what the world looks like from outside his/her window and shares it with other people. Kind of hokey, but that's the kind of stuff we like best, eh?
So here is my input. Actually, I would have jumped at any excuse to take pictures of the tree in front of my window, because it's pretty in the springtime. I didn't have time to photoshop it to its regular color (Photoshop program on nerd school computer = fail) but it's a deeper colour than the camera shows.

Date: 2008-04-13 10:27 pm (UTC)But I get woken up very nicely on the weekend because birds perch in the tree and chirrup and flutter around.
AMG! Sweeney Todd for the WIN! I want that soundtrack...
Anyway, glad the "View from Window" worked out. I'm going to try to get some of my other friends to do the same.

And I don't think sudden proliferation of palm trees really makes up for that...

Date: 2008-04-24 11:16 pm (UTC)It was a book about Celtic myths- it was one of those "myths and legends intrude into the unwitting real world" kind of books. Despite my slightly condescending-seeming description of it, it wasn't bad.

It constantly perplexes me that it is the obese that seem to wear the least.
Then again, this is coming from a person who won't wear sleeve-less shirts and knee-length skirts and the same time because it's too revealing and indecent.
