So you know those "The View From My Window" bits that people do for photography contests?
Okay, maybe you don't...
So the person takes pictures of what the world looks like from outside his/her window and shares it with other people. Kind of hokey, but that's the kind of stuff we like best, eh?

So here is my input. Actually, I would have jumped at any excuse to take pictures of the tree in front of my window, because it's pretty in the springtime. I didn't have time to photoshop it to its regular color (Photoshop program on nerd school computer = fail) but it's a deeper colour than the camera shows.

Gods, I WISH! No, that pond is a driveway... *fail*
But I get woken up very nicely on the weekend because birds perch in the tree and chirrup and flutter around.

AMG! Sweeney Todd for the WIN! I want that soundtrack...

Anyway, glad the "View from Window" worked out. I'm going to try to get some of my other friends to do the same.

Ahh...how I wish seasons actually showed up like seasons should in Miami... *melodramatic sigh*
We live in eternal summer...
And I don't think sudden proliferation of palm trees really makes up for that...

Did it have palm trees and hurricanes and scantily clad obese people? Because if not, it has nothing on us.

No.

It was a book about Celtic myths- it was one of those "myths and legends intrude into the unwitting real world" kind of books. Despite my slightly condescending-seeming description of it, it wasn't bad.

haha, it doesn't have FM-san's STAMP OF RECOMMENDATION, though.
Not like...um..what other books have I STAMPED that you've liked? I remember Strange & Norrell. Um...were you the Black Magician Trilogy Person? Or were you the Historian person?

Oh, and to reply:

eww...

It constantly perplexes me that it is the obese that seem to wear the least.

Then again, this is coming from a person who won't wear sleeve-less shirts and knee-length skirts and the same time because it's too revealing and indecent.

Coming from the person who wears a sweatshirt and long pants in all weather, I consider you sane.

niice! You're like the opposite of my other friend, who wears shorts all year. When he wears long pants (rarely!), the weather always mysteriously turns bad and it snows.

I think he's a mage.
It would explain a hell of a lot.

Ah. That makes him like my brother, then. Except...well...it doesn't really snow down here. (Maybe my brother's his "strange-esque" secret apprentice in short-pants-mage-dom...)
