Rooster Attacks

So my roommate was out walking her dog, who was suddenly attacked by a rooster that lives in one of backyards and sometimes gets loose. (Yeah, this is a college town, so people have all sorts of weird shit) Her dog is about 60 pounds, so not that small, and the rooster wasn't intimidated at all. So my roommate had to try and defend against this rooster while her dog cowered behind her.



This all led to an amazing news article about a rooster attacking a child.

First sentence: "When they heard the screams, no one suspected the rooster."

Well, people where I LIVE keep roosters because we live in a largely agrarian county. People in in the city where I go to college keep roosters because they're hipsters. This is a distinction that must be made.

The article was sad yet hilarious at the same time. I saw the photo of the child with the tears on her face, and I was torn between sympathy and hilarity. I am a terrible person.
