- Mary does not deserve Matthew. I am sucked into this soap operatic stuff and cannot get out. Help me.

- Robert: "I would sooner see Bates as an assassin than a petty thief." Bates NEEDS to be an assassin immediately.
Bates: "I am sorry, I must hand in my resignation. While you thought I was stealing the wine, I was assassinating the Archduke Ferdinand."

- Mary complains that Matthew sees everything in black and white. While Matthew and Mary are both dressed in black and white respectively. Me-ta.

- Thomas, you are too pretty and bastard-y evil to simply die in war.

- I like how the staff is very slow to pull Thomas and William apart while William was punching him.

- Mary is a bitch. To be fair, Edith was a bitch right back. I feel so sorry for Stallon, who seems genuinely nice.
