The Great Gatsby

foolish_m0rtalApparently they're trying to do a new Great Gatsby with Leo DiCaprio as Gatsby and Toby McGuire as Nick Carraway. I was kind of unimpressed, but then they cast Carey Mulligan as Daisy, and that actress is amazing, so now I'm willing to give it a chance.
I still think they could have just cast Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams as Gatsby and Nick respectively, and they would have been absolutely spectacular. Their characters' dynamic in Suits just screams this anyway. I don't exactly look for ho yay in everything I watch, but I certainly foster it if possible. I have no regrets.
