Does anyone watch the TV show Teen Wolf? Is it any good? I chose not to watch it because I was a Big Wolf on Campus fan first, and I thought it would be far too derivative. From looking at both shows, I think Teen Wolf is a bit more serious whereas all the best fun in BWoC was the fantastic cheese and humour. (And the spectacularity of Merton J. Dingle. And Tommy/Merton being like, the most amazing practically-canon thing ever)

Yeah, it's kind of like that. Constantly.

I'm always looking for a growing and vibrant supernatural (note the uncapitalisation) fandom, and Grimm's fandom is a bit...I don't know. It's not really going anywhere, but I think that's more to do with the show than the fandom. I thought I might give Teen Wolf a shot because according to sources the fandom for Teen Wolf is good. The BWoC fandom is unfortunately a bit scattered since the show hasn't been on television for a long time.

This is what fandom looks like as it's seducing you

So for all you Teen Wolf fans, would you recommend the show and why? Also, yeah, this post just devolved into a giant BWoC picspam.

Some dedicated fan was determined to get that screenshot. So determined. I respect that.

My absolute favourite pic is of Merton reading and Tommy sleeping and curled up next to him. It's just so domestic. I can't even. Warm fuzzy feelings abound.

From that one shot you can easily imagine a million more like it as they get older. At college and onward, just curling up and spending quiet time together, in between the monster-fighting and classes, because they can relax in each other's company and feel safe and comfortable together without having to be always doing stuff.

YES. Just, guh. All of this. YES. I am such a firm believer that Tommy and Merton are each other's safe spaces, the Lair is their place to hang out and be themselves. Their friendship is beautiful and forever. Q_Q

Haha, there is an amazing fic about all of Pleasantville shipping Tommy and Merton, and they're like, "Wait, what?" It's so wonderful.

They so would. They would be the most rampantly PFLAG parents ever. Mrs. Dawkins would march in all the pride parades, and Tommy would be so embarrassed.
"Hey, isn't that your mom on TV?"
"NO."

And she would be interviewed at the march because she's bros with all the reporters. And she would just gush about Tommy and Merton and show off cute pictures she keeps in her wallet.

Oh, and I found the fic. (http://archiveofourown.org/works/9356)

While I find its formatting slightly annoying (might fix it and send it back to the author. Would that be rude?), it is hilarious and features rampantly PFLAG Mr. and Mrs. Dawkins.

HAHAHAHA. She would just draft people to hold the video camera and boom mike, and then start talking. "This just in, my son Tommy and his boyfriend Merton Dingle are adorable."
