On a separate note: WHY won't LJ let me upload images right now? This is a reaction gif post without gifs. Not cool.

- Harvey all like we need to leave the country. I've booked us two tickets to Buenos Aires. Helicopter comes in ten minutes.

YES PLEASE KOWALSKI AND FRASER AWAY TOGETHER.

- Harvey making a Highlander joke at a funeral. Jessica getting the joke and being like, "Really, dude?"

- Mike solving the merger. So badass. "Don't threaten me or my firm ever again." Aww, he's nesting.

- Louis never changing. Never change, Louis.

- Mike proving to Trevor that he can destroy him. "You don't need a memory like mine to remember that." Mike is exactly the kind of character I really love, someone that is underestimated and seems like a regular dude, and then suddenly he reminds you that he's alarmingly competent, crazy, and dangerous.

- Harvey: “You need me. And I’m not staying without Mike.”  PRECIOUS. SO PRECIOUS.

- Sassy Jessica grilling Mike without Google. Jessica is the most amazing person ever. I need Donna/Jessica fic like NOW.

Donna and Jessica, i love them so much. non love interests and insanely complex ladies in their own rights. I only caught the first half but i'll be watching the rest soon.

I saw some fic them donna/jessica as a side pairing. It was sentinal!Mike/Guide!Harvey and they were the other major s/g pair in the firm. *grin*

Mm, Rachel is really cool. It just seems like all of her scenes rotate around her relationship with Mike, whereas Jessica and Donna's scenes are all their own. Maybe that's part of it. I find myself disliking women who are there to be love interests. It's just a weird prejudicial quirk of mine that I need to get over.

I have the same issue. Mostly because i really do prefer ladies that dont' revolve around their love interests. Rachel is very awesome when she's not all about that love triangle. Jenny's getting on my nerves. Mike's trying to get away from things, and what i saw? she wants to drive him back INTO the drama in the worst way.

My first fandom was wonder woman, and her life was her mission, not her guy. She had the dude in distress so early and i loved it. I couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 when i saw the Lynda Carter show reruns in the 80s. It's kind of influenced me in my lady super heroes and female characters in everything, ever since. So seeing women being written as only love interests/non plot drivers annoys me. Even in such a good show as Suits.

Okay, great to know I'm not the only one. Sometimes people tell me I don't like the love interest because I have my own ships and she's 'threatening,' and it's like, um NO.

This might be the reason Jenny got on my nerves too. There's this sense that Mike 'saved' her from Trevor and subsequently 'won' her, and I'm not even going to TOUCH that mediaeval 'save the princess' concept.

The cast has hinted that Rachel will have more of a role with Donna in the future, and I'm looking forward to that. I just hope it won't be like this episode, where they were just there to talk about her relationship with Mike. Bechdel test much?

Oh i know. Well, it had its place in the long range arc. As long as Rachel doesn't stay that way, then i won't get annoyed with the writers.

I can take it in silly shows like TNT's franklin and bash, but they have a lot of great women that aren't love interests in that show in one off spots to make up for the guys and their womanizing ways. I'd hate guys like those two, but i love that bromance insanely. Those boys could fall into romance and no one would bat an eye. Mike and Harvey? Louder, dramatic and generally more explosive kinda courtship going on there. :D

edit: my reply skills SUCK tonight ^^;;

I've never watched Franklin and Bash. How is the show? Why do you like it? I want to know all your feelings. I have a feeling they're very much like the younger versions of Denny and Alan from Boston Legal.

Hahaha, there's a reason I don't write any Suits fic, Harvey/Mike specifically. They have so much great chemistry, but I have no freaking idea how they would even get together. I've also noticed an undercurrent of whiny/helpless!Mike in stories that I read, and that's feels really wrong and out of character.

Have you read any good Suits fic?

I read one about them Imprinting (based on yet another concept/books i have no clue about), that's really neat. Definitely non helpless Mike, because he knows more about it than Harvey.

I've heard F&B compared to Denny and Alan from BL, but i never watched BL. The show is HILARIOUS. Mark-Paul Glosselar as Peter and his mother hen self is just adorable, especially later as he has to take care of Breckin Meyer's Jared. Their hijinks in court are great, and i love how in the end they still gravitate right back to each other. In the end? It's all about each other. They are basically Heterosexual Life Partners since forever. Went to college together, been roommates ever since. STILL live together. The characters are midto upper 30s and have known each other since they were 10. In the first ep of season 2, you could see Peter having Hurt/comfort fantasies of taking care of Jared cause jared almost got himself shot in the first 5 minutes.

I have yet to see ep 2 of this season, but Jared mentioned being cold? Peter immediately offered his jacket to him. No hesitation. he just DOES it. Even earlier in s1? Jared puked in an elevator. Peter? rubbing his back while everyone else sidles away. They love each other, and that's that. :D

I can keep going. XD In the pilot? They got two separate but side by side offices. Jared was all pouting. Peter: "we'll get that wall knocked down." Jared grins so big it lights up his face. That's when i knew that i was going to love those two.

Ooh, I read that one too. That was actually pretty good. I was really afraid of where the story would go with the Sentinel Guide dynamic, and it ended up pleasantly surprising me.

Awww, that is just adorable. Childhood friends. *wibbling with love* "We'll get that wall knocked down." *explode* I suddenly have a lot of feelings, and I don't know where they came from, because I haven't even started watching this show yet.

It's really worth watching. I adore Peter and Jared. Oh there was a cute reversal of the H/C stuff in the finale ep of s1. Peter is scared of corpses. The final ep required them taking a 'field trip' to the morgue and he got queasy. Jared immediately started comforting him. End of the ep? he faints. Jared's the one looking after him. I'm hoping to see more of those in season 2. Peter's still the mother hen, but Jared has his slightly possessive moments. There's a picture somewhere of them lounging in their home, the Man Cave. Jared's legs are draped over Peter's while they talk about something. Casually as can be. Personal space, boundaries. They really have none. It's absolutely adorable in the best way.
