Yes. The last few episodes. I was like, I can't. There is too much friendship going on here, and I am barely controlling my emotions. Root was so cool! Amy Acker is in all my shows, and I am so fine with that.

As an antagonist (and a character) she's freaking perfecttttttt ugh /holds chest. Elias was dang excellent too, but not the final boss type that Root is turning out to be.

I love all the women in Person of Interest. I was a little lukewarm on Carter last season, but she is so kickass fantastic in season 2. And Fusco is amazing, and now they're bros. I love all of it.

Really? I actually thought Carter was pretty great in the first season XD But I'm definitely loving the Carter and Fusco broship a lot.

I am SO loving PoI right now. Sooooo many Rinch feels, plus an active and OMG sassy Fusco. He was so good protecting the Number this week. He may not be reese, but goddamn is he tenacious! Carter just had EVERYONE's number tonight. She totally called out the CIA, helped Finch along, and then was teh cavalry for Reese.

I love in the end where Carter was all like, had enough of me doing your work for you? I like how she protects Snow not out of sympathy but because she just loves giving the CIA a hard time and doesn't want to get into their messes.

Sassy Fusco, YES. I loved him bonding with the Number and the whole 'Stud' thing. So so cute! I really did like this week's Number despite my original disinterest.

Holy crap, all the Rinch feels. All. Of. Them. Poor Finch and his agoraphobia. Although he seems better when he goes out with Reese and Bear (which was the most precious image ever).

Yes. His Root induced agoraphobia. Poor Finch. Reese seems to have helped him with it, just by being there. He probably had a mild case before Root, but she made it so bad that its like this now.

OMG the Rinch feels at teh end. it was SOOOO a Date Night. Happy couple walking their dog. Reese's SMILE. dear gods, he was happy for the first time in forever. So. Many. Feels!.

Oh man, the end. Carter says, "Reese isn't his usual cheerful self," and Finch thinks it's a joke. Finch, it is not a joke. Look at that smile.

Also, 'does it have to be beer' killed me, because you know Finch will drag them to some fancy restaurant or their little diner.

Yup. the one time we've seen him handle beer in s1, he was half disgusted, half fascinated by it. Mostly just played with it. So yeah. Talk Reese into a place where he can get them a nice wine (and maybe John's beer too).

Seriously, Rinch and Bear are giving me baby episode flashbacks again, except it's Finch that's the awkward one. Now I need to go watch Baby Blue again.

Oh gods, Baby Blue. Still one of the best eps of s1, ever. One of the best examples of how they turn tropes on their heads and then barrel through them. On top of being sooooooooooooo CUUUUUUUTE XD

CAN I JOIN IN THE POI LOVEFEST BECAUSE OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I am loving the second season with the most unmitigated glee and joy ever.

YESSSSS, it is so so amazing. There's such a great familiarity between Reese and Finch now where there was distrust and isolation before. And I love that the writers didn't push that.

There's a tendency to create situations to force an odd couple together to make them work together, and they become buddy-buddy way too quickly. I like the slow progression between Reese and Finch. They don't have to be friends, because that's not their job. They're both damaged and don't feel like becoming attached to each other, and there's no pressure to do that on either side. (Reese does push a little, but I think it's also because Finch is so easy to tease.)

And then the kidnapping happens, and they're on shaky ground, because they can't go back to how they were before. You can't do that to people who have saved your life. So there's a terrific hesitation to them this season now that they've figured out that neither one of them is an island, and it's okay to depend on someone else.

I think this happened with Carter and Fusco too. They rely on each other now that the distrust is gone. The kidnapping made them realise that Reese and Finch are people too. Maybe Reese has people that are important to him, and Finch isn't as faceless as they thought. So everyone is slowly becoming a unit.

And this transition is seamless and perfect. It is so so perfect. Seriously, hats off to the writers.

XDDDDDDDDDDDD YES. YES YES YES. I love that they took the time for the whole of first season to build up Finch and Reese's friendship. Now it feels hard won and more meaningful. I like that Reese has resolved some of his manpain issues, and you get to see some of that real John underneath. We've had glimpses of him before, but now it's like, lol, he can be the epic troll that he wants to be.

And yes to Carter and Fusco. "Maybe Reese has people that are important to him, and Finch isn't as faceless as they thought." THIS IS PERFECT YES. A;LDFKJAL;FJLKAFJ;LAKJFDLKAJ;FDLKAFD

I'm loving the FUCK out of this second season so far. There's always the fear of sophomore slump, but damn, they're hitting it out of the park every fucking week so far.
