I love jsut how british that virus page seems to be. ("Bloody ages" and "sodding paperclip" enough said. I'm not exactly the screaming temporal center of American phraseology in the universe, I know, but I still think the person who calls something "sodding" is five seconds away from calling me "a fine bloke." Mine is not a sodding paperclip anyway because I use wordpad, which means I can make the most amazing spelling errors in the universe with impunity.)

My university computer already came pre-installed with Vista.

Nuff said.

They'd better give us a free upgrade to Windows 7. (I wish they had kept the working OS name Blackcomb. Windows Blackcomb. Grudgingly cool, eh?)

Blackcomb is too easy to make fun of. They had to find something more rediculous but harmless sounding so they'd be forced to instead, mess up the software itself to truly inspire proper ph34r in the populace.

Well, you buy a computer from the university from either Dell or Mac. It seems a bit expensive initially, but there are preloaded programs and you get university hardware support (Cavalier Computers) and software support (ITC. That's me!!)

Your hypothesis is intriguing...

The second name they came up with was Vienna. Wonder why that fell through? Austria sued for copyright infringement?
