Whittling Wood artwork

Since I like doing a lot of Photoshop stuff and I've finally started posting stuff up here on LJ instead of just on FF.net, I thought I would do a picture for Whittling Wood, since that's what I'm working on most right now. (I'll get back to CF, I swear. I just have to clean out all the muck from the previous chapters. I know it's a vicious cycle, but just this ONCE. Otherwise I'll never be able to get on with it)

Here's what I have so far, but it's definitely a work in progress. This image is based on Chapter two, which should be coming out soon. It's Gabriel finally going into Whittling Wood to do his research. (finally figured out that images retain their size in LJ, they just come out as smaller images in the posts, but you can still see the original by clicking on it. I really didn't know this!)

Let me know if there's anything you suggest!

I worked dutifully on generic longhaired man, who used to be about 20 pounds heavier and had short dark hair.

Meh, I tried going for a ghost wings effect, but it really didn't work well. I am sad, for it would look nice.
