Okay, this has been bothering me since the Quidditch match today.

HARRY POTTER SPOILERS

So how does Bellatrix Lestrange kill Tonks, who trained as an Auror, but get defeated by Molly Weasley?

Both of them come from powerful families. (Tonks is a Black and Molly is a Prewett) But really, who's had more practice fighting the Dark Arts?

The only thing I can think of is the 'not my daughter, you bitch!' part (haha, awesome, Molly) which might be a form of love magic, which is supposed to be pretty powerful.

But even so! I don't think both Tonks and Lupin should have died. Maybe Lupin, because he's everyone's favourite. There are so many things wrong with how the books are tied up, arg! (see my other post about this rant) Sometimes when it starts getting me down, I just pretend the seventh book didn't happen.

And P.S. doesn't Bonham Carter make a hott Bellatrix? Just saying, if you have to pick death by duel with anybody...



This is so totally Bonham Carter's thing. I love the fact that there are people like her and Tim Burton in the industry.

I was convinced Tonks was going to die in book 6. Falling in love with Remus basically ruined her, then she got preggers and I suppose if you're that young and you have to grow up that quickly it's going to make you really vulnerable. Molly was protecting her kids (everyone, lol) and that makes women super powerful awesome, apparently.

I'm glad Remus died. He's my favorite character by far, but he was a husk of a man and totally miserable. ;~;

It's very sad to see people then and now. Everyone from the original marauders led very tragic lives.

Sorry, but Tonks/Lupin came out of nowhere for me. (Many pairings came out of nowhere for me, but maybe that's just me being dense) I'll agree Tonks was terribly young to be put through all of this. She was...what? Seven years older than Harry?

Don't get me wrong, I think Tonks/Lupin was retarded. She should have been a lesbian or hooked up with Kingsley Shacklebolt (Teddy would have been the most badass kid ever if Kingsley was his poppa) or Charlie Weasley. So lame. B\ She got shafted.

I've been reading up on the wizarding families lately. They all lead very sad lives.

Kingsley Shacklebolt ROCKS. As does Charlie Weasley. I feel they're more her vibe?

I don't decide which characters I'm going to kill off. It just sort of happens. It seems like Rowling bartered a little. "Okay, since I'm not going to kill Arthur Weasley and I want to kill parents, I'm going to kill both Tonks AND Lupin."

*shrug* I mean, if that's how you decide, I guess that's one way to do it. I just usually don't have a bartering system. If I think a character is going to die, I don't swap him/her out if I don't like it. (Though I feel Joss kills off his favourites)
