1 Pyrrha Bremynstae: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
I have a whole backstory and future planned for Pyrrha, but unfortunately don't want to spoil it for people. Right now all we know about her is that she's new at court and has a little bit of a crush on Itsuki, not realizing that Itsuki is just nice and charming towards everybody. Kana Itsuki thinks she's too weak-willed and pliable and doesn't see how her son would ever be interested in her.
2 Proteus: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
Proteus is...interesting. He seems like the typical laid-back woman chasing court flunkie, but he's someone everyone underestimates when times get hard, and he's constantly surprising people. He's interested in Enomoto Satsu, who thinks he's an idiot and sees no social advatange from courting him.
3 Caius Cadmus: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
I like this OC a lot, and actually had to put Courageous Fire on hiatus half because I wanted to rewrite it and half because THIS guy was getting in the way all the time. Go away, Caius!
Caius is from a lower class of family at court and works as an assistant in the Ministry of Defence. He's pretty capable and is the guy behind the scenes that frequently gets the important things done while people aren't paying him any attention. He's generally contemptuous of the higher class, whom he views as pretentious, and freely speaks his mind about what he thinks, which sometimes offends people. This is quite similar to Enomoto Satsu, who genuinely seems to like him instead of using him to gain a social advantage.
He's currently in a covert relationship with Katsuragi Seimei, the Prime Minister of Defence, whom he met a few years ago.
4 Caius Andromache: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
Caius Cadmus's older sister. She and her brother are very close because of the isolation they encountered with their two older siblings. Andromache is married and has a two year old daughter named Arimi, who adores Cadmus. Andromache is very loving though she can be bossy. Since she's close to Cadmus, she enjoys meddling with his life and being nosy; she's also the best in her family at reading what he's feeling and always sticks with him. Andromache has felt inferior to many 'more successful' females in her family, especially her older sister Shizuka.
5 Ashiya Karin: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
Karin and her fraternal twin brother Douman are considered slightly annoying in court. They are very showy and many times seem more interested in money, gossip, and connections than anything else, though they are harmless and not malicious in the least. Itsuki has compared them to sparrows dressing up in peacock feathers. Their family is 'new money' relative to the more 'old money' types like the Katsuragis and the Tendous.
6 Iwate Junichiro: Muse: Juvenile Orion
Iwate is the barman in the bar Kuro plays at in the evenings. He is one of Kuro's closer friends, and they frequently hang out after Kuro's shift is over. Iwate later on introduces Kuro to his friend Chiba Hokushin, who teaches swordsmanship at the prestigious Yakitoba school. Iwate and Chiba are seemingly antagonistic towards each other, but are old friends underneath it all. Iwate is good natured and is very loyal towards his friends, frequently going out of his way to help them.
7 Vilches: Arc of the Zodiac: Juvenile Orion
Vilces is a local woman in one of the towns Kuro and Gabriel visit to get information about the Pisces Zodiac monster. She and Kuro seemingly start hanging out, though she has more romantic interests while Kuro is more interested in getting to know the town through her. Vilces is initially disappointed by this, but soon realizes Kuro does not notice her advances and is more focused on completing his assignment. She is slightly jealous of the closeness between Kuro and Gabriel but recognises the 'brotherhood forged in fire' bond isn't someting she can come between. Kuro is reluctant to pursue anything romantic with her since he knows he has to leave town in a few weeks and may never come back.
8 Admarian Fortham Trigesima: Whittling Wood: Juvenile Orion
Queen Admarien is the last of the royals in what is called the Whittling Age. She is trapped in the castle when it is cursed and is never seen again. Her reign was a kind of renaissance, which saw peace, prosperity, and the value of knowledge grow in the land.
Her name is usually arranged in the traditional royal custom:
Admarien is her own family's last name
Fortham is the name of the ruling dynasty: Fortham means The Beloved Ones
Trigesima indicates which ruler she is in the dynasty: Trigesima indicates she is the thirtieth Fortham ruler to take the crown.
Her first name, which would be disrespectful in her title, is not revealed. Only family and close friends know her first name.
9 Hiranuma Chie: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
Chie is a woman at court who many describe as slight and delicate, though she is skilled with the naginata (considered an upper class recreational weapon) and wakes up early every day to go to the gymnasium to practice.
She is very cheerful and welcoming, having the distinction of being one of the few truly genuine people at court. She and Higa Jin begin courting early on in the series. Unlike his friend Proteus, Jin is outwardly more sober and responsible, which Chie finds more appealing.
10 Enomoto Satsu: Courageous Fire: Juvenile Orion
Somewhat more subtle about grasping and climbing up the social ladder than the Ashiyas, Satsu is nevertheless always talking with everyone to bolster her family prestige, though this seems more out of family instruction. She can be brusque and used to having something done her way, but breaks off from her family more and becomes her own person as the series goes on. She can be surprisingly judgemental and unwilling to move on a point once she has made up her mind. Surprisingly, she is the first one who finds out and supports court rebellion against the Consortium Dome.

Reluctantly get out of bed and see what was the matter with her. She's probably freaked out by some weird sound or something.

He's such a flirt, and probably joking, so I'd probably laugh and banter back and forth. End up saying no and walking away.
3. Number 3 walked into the bathroom while you're there?: Caius
Be very casual about it. He's probably as surprised as me. We'd say our polite apologies and he'd go back out.
4. Number 4 cooked you dinner?: Andromache
Andromache would TOTALLY cook people dinner. It would be a warm motherly dinner full of love, and she'd bossily make me eat seconds of everything.
5. Number 5 was lying next to you on the beach, sleeping? Karin
Move away. She's probably wearing one of those skimpy little bathing suits. I don't want to be seen with her.
6. Number 8 got into the hospital somehow? Queen Admarien
Hope the royal physicians are attending to her, and pray a little.
7. Number 9 made fun of your friends? Chie
Chie would NEVER make fun of my friends. If she did, I would ditch my friends because if CHIE doesn't like somebody, they deserve that.

I'm probably not high class enough for her. Whatever.
WHAT WOULD THEY DO UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES?
1. Two serial killers are hunting you down. What will Number 1 do? Pyrrha
Freak out and panic. She'd probably get taken hostage, and I'd have to go rescue her. *sigh*
2. You're on a vacation with Number 2 and you manage to break your leg. What does Number 2 do? Proteus
He would get his 'serious face' and take care of everything, almost turning into a completely different person.
3. It's your birthday. What will 3 give you? Caius
A book that I like, or tickets to a concert. All in good taste.If I invited him to a party though, he'd probably be too busy to come.
4. You're stuck in a house that's on fire. What does Number 4 do?: Andromache
Get some people to fetch the fire department and organise others to help her get me out. When she tells you what to do, you DO it.
5. You're about to do something that'll make you feel extremely embarrassed. What will Number 5 do?: Karin
Snicker and start a gossip chain about it.
6. You're about to marry Number 10. What's Number 6's reaction? Satsu, Iwate
He'd be all supportive, even though he thought it was an awful match. Secretly, he'd think she's just marrying me for my social status, but he would act happy for me while keeping tabs to make sure I'm alright.

Probably organise some kind of girls night out or something. Or we'd hang out at my place and watch funny movies. She would tactfully not broach the topic unless I brought it up.

Gives me a slightly cool look and says its perfectly alright to be angry about this, but moving forward is the best step to resolving everything.
9. You compete in some tournament. How does Number 9 support you?: Chie
By coming out and supporting me and shouting things in the stands. She probably knows more about fighting than I do, so all the shouting would gain the respect of the men around her.

RELATIONSHIP PART

No freaking way.

Huh, actually I saw that coming. I wouldn't think Chie would go for him though. Besides, she's dating his friend Jin.

Splendidly. He'd be a better son-in-law than they could have ever asked for. He might be too liberal artsy for my dad, but I think he would respect Caius's intelligence and propensity for snark.

Andromache loves Chie? That is actually REALLY cute. If they were anything but straight, I think they would make one of those long term couples that just become the bedrock of everything.
5. Number 6 appears to be a player, he/she breaks many hearts. What do you do? Iwate
He probably doesn't even notice. He's so nice towards everyone that I can see how they would get the wrong impression

She's probably trying to find a kind way of telling me it looks bad.

If she says so, then I guess not. Queens don't get boyfriends, they get politically advantageous husbands.

S-So cute. I can't see her as anything but a friend, so I'll let her down gently. I don't want to hurt her feelings.
FRIENDSHIP PART
1. Could Number 1 and Number 6 be soul mates? Pyrrha and Iwate
Um...wow, I think in an unbalanced relationship. I see Pyrrha as kind of needy, so I think she would take and take while Iwate generously gave and gave without even thinking about himself.
2. Would Number 2 trust Number 5? Proteus and Karin
No way. He might act like an idiot in front of her, but he would be keeping an eye on her.
3. Number 3 wants to go shopping, will Number 7 come along? Caius and Vilces
Maybe she would volunteer to help carry bags and stuff. Caius is pressed for time and can usually get in and out fairly quickly. She might offer to be nice, but Caius would probably refuse the help.
4. Number 4 is bored and pokes Number 10. What happens after that? Andromache and Satsu
Satsu just ignores her. Andromache only pokes family.
5. Number 5 and Number 1 are forced to go back to school together. What study will they pick? Pyrrha and Karin
Pyrrha would probably want to study literature or something, but Karin would do whatever she wanted and make Pyrrha take the same classes, then copy her homework. She would probably pick something really easy that she could slack off for.
6. If Number 6 and Number 3 cooked dinner, what would they make? Caius and Iwate
Something fast and modest like sandwiches or tossed vegetables. Iwate would cheat and just heat up food his girlfriend made.
7. Number 7 and Number 9 apply for a job. What job? Vilces and Chie
They would work in a bank as tellers or in a bakery to sell the food (not cook it!). Anything where they can interact with people.
8. Number 8 gives Number 5 a haircut. Is that okay? Admarien and Karin
This...doesn't even make sense. Admarien's one of those regal queens. Karin is not even in her social circle. Queens do not give haircuts!

Iwate actually already has a girlfriend. She's sensible and nice and gets along well with the rest of his friends. She has long dark brown hair and an open friendly face. Not classically attractive, but friendly.
