Have extra an left over from anpan? Make taiyaki! (The delicious fish shaped snacks we found out about in Azumanga Daioh)
I don't have any personal pictures for you guys because my family ate these things as they were coming out of the pan, so I didn't have time to take pictures. I also don't have the fish shaped mold, and feel mine would just be a shameful parody of what taiyaki is supposed to be.

- Regular pancake batter (there's apparently Japanese pancake batter, but it's all pancakes to me, and this is just an easy recipe to clean up the rest of the an)
- Sandwich press
- an
1) I basically used pancake batter and a sandwich press.
2) I filled the batter with an left over an and pressed it, but now as I'm thinking about it, it would have been easier to half-cook the pancakes, load them in the sandwich press with the an, and press them like that.
If you don't have a sandwich press, you can still enjoy this by making a pancake and folding it in half with the an inside.
