Okay, so I can't really speak decisively on this issue, except from what I've experienced. Me and you already talked about this a little while ago. xD Myself, I've considered making a separate journal several times. So I made another journal. That one was supposed to be meta and stuff, but then it started turning into a personal journal and that was alright - except the people who had that journal added started commenting on my irl stuff (which was okay, but I didn't like doing that. Like you said, they were there for the fic.) Recently I've cut out everything personal, other than college/school stuff, which usually affects my writing anyway, so it's there for a reason. So. I'm voting yes, but keep in mind that I failed at having a personal journal and a writing journal (separate.)
