A Bit of Assistance

I'm looking for someone to do a quick read-through of Chapter Eight, the latest chapter of Legerdemain. Not for any kind of beta-ing, but I'm presenting part of the chapter in a style that I'm unsure about since I haven't written that way before. (Wow, it sounds so mysterious, but it really isn't) I'd like someone else to read through it to reassure me that it makes sense, flows, etc. I still have a few more paragraphs of the chapter left, but I thought I would ask early so I can get the chapter officially out ASAP.

Incentives? Er...you get...to read the new chapter a few days before everybody else? (sorry, that's kind of weak) Eh, how about I'll do a drabble-ish of your choosing in this universe? (Although of course it can't give away any real plot)

Ugh...you ever give yourself the kind of stress where you sit there a day later and realize you're sore everywhere because your muscles have literally tensed up on themselves that much without your realization?

uh, I tried going to Kamakura, Yokohama, and Shinjuku in one day because they were all stops along the ride back. The next day I woke up and couldn't move

I think I get the stress you're talking about in my shoulders- I don't realise how tense I am until I somehow relax them and then they start hurting

here's another thing to give you stress- what do you want for a drabble-ism? I'm still working on your one for GabKuro, by the way. East has got me drained of any non-steampunk ideas. I don't know if the world could handle steampunk!Kuro and his hapless Igor/Beaker Gabriel...
