Wow, it's been such a great year! I've done so many things I never thought I would and met a lot of great people!
I lived in Japan for a few months, which is something I've dreamt of doing since I was a child. I survived the introductory C++ class, despite a lot of moans and groans and all nighters. I got through my provisional semester and am now an official member of my university's literary debating union. I got my heart properly broken, which was...an interesting experience.
I ACTUALLY STARTED WRITING ORIGINAL FICTION AGAIN WHAT I DON'T EVEN. I especially want to thank everyone who's supported all my fiction efforts- you guys don't know how much you mean to me, you really don't. You guys light up my week on a regular basis, how do you DO that?!
I've met a lot of you fairly recently, and I've been so happy to get acquainted with you! Dear old friends, it's been fantastic to get to know you better! It's been so great sharing in your journals, which are ridiculously hilarious and thoughtful and brilliant. YES, every one of you!
Fandom, it's been wonderful. Seriously, wonderful. You are batshit crazy and blindingly talented and gorgeous as hell and sometimes I don't know what I would do without you.
It's been a few years, which I can't even believe! I've grown up a lot in LJ and only hope there's more growing and learning and late-night crack hilarity for the new year. I genuinely wish all of you the very best- see you next year!!
