Also, I have no idea why, but I am getting a wicked queer icon vibe, like this would catch on fast in our university queer community. I got the same vibe from Florence and the Machine, and that turned out to be right.
Not sure what it is, but something about the woman in the heart-shaped shades + retro-drive in + cheesy B-movie + the stereotypical nerd/jock/biker's horror in their attempts at intimacy with women (reading WAYY to much into shit here, but there is seriously so much analysis of horror movies that is based on this) + general Neon Trees awesomeness. I can't explain it.
Also this cover by Ratham Stone is adorable and so unique.
